 Pre-Registered Comments 

I.   Introduction

The Pre-Registered Comments option is a very useful and versatile alternative.   It allows for the addition of a selection of comments to appear automatically in every job order.  Users will find this feature very convenient as they no longer have to spend time looking for or writing observations during an inspection with regards to issues that are very common and almost always found in every location.  Administrators can take advantage of this feature and make any particular comments readily available for users.  These comments can be either set to already appear listed in all work orders for quicker or easier find, as well as to also appear selected or unselected for report inclusion.  The preferences are up to each organization and what its members deem necessary.  Below find a sample of four Pre-Registered Comments selected to be listed in job orders. 

II.  Home Inspection Module - Inspection Tab Sample

In this scenario, four comments regarding very common findings were selected to appear listed in all of the job orders of an organization's Home Inspection Module usage.  Two of the comments appear with their corresponding check boxes unselected, and the other two have it selected. Users will need to select the check boxes as ON or OFF in accordance to their finding and the usability concept. 

Example 1:

Inspection Tab – Electrical Area – Appliance - This comment has been set to appear listed in the work order from its initiation and will be included in the report unless the NA (Not Applicable) check box is marked.

 Example 2: 

Inspection Tab – Plumbing Area – Kitchen Cabinets Material - This comment has been set to appear listed in the work order from its initiation and will be included in the report unless the NA (Not Applicable) check box is marked.


Example 3:

For this example,  these comments are less common therefore their check boxes appear marked.

Inspection Tab – Appliance Area – Appliance and Refrigerator’s Ice Maker -  The NA (Not Applicable) check boxes are marked. The user would need to uncheck these comments if needed to be included in the report.

 

III.  Home Inspection Module - Summary


Summary Tab   - All of the entered comments are listed in this section, and can also be checked / unchecked, or deleted. 


As suggested above, these are just four examples of what are Pre-Registered Comments and how they work.  The combinations vary and can be modified as needed. The idea is to facilitate the usage of ProExpert and make it more convenient to perform inspections and generate their reports.
