Room Description Tool: Simple Method

I.  Introduction

The Room Description Tool: Simple Method (Nº 1) is one of the four room description methods included in the Room Description Tool, a very useful tool created by LICIEL Diagnostics to help you describe the property to be inspected. The other methods are:

  • Grid Method (Nº 2)
  • Assisted Method (Nº 3)
  • Lead-WDO Method (Nº 4)

Note: These room description methods are explained in detail in independent WikiLICIEL articles. The Room Description Tool: Introduction, which help you describe the general structure and room components of the property subject to inspection, is also documented in a separated WikiLICIEL article. Kindly refer to those articles for more info.

This article is intended to show you how to use the Room Description Tool: Simple Method. As you will see, this method uses checkboxes and text entry fields to describe the different areas.

The Visited Rooms list, on the left, is determined by the List of Rooms you defined in the Field Section Basics Tool: List of Rooms tab. You can also add a room using Assisted Entry (see section "I.D  Adding a Room Using Assisted Entry", below).

Besides, you can describe all applicable Components and enter Comments in the Additional Info section at the bottom of the window. Rooms having elements that have already been described display in red.
